We are looking for a Team Manager to lead an engineering team serving customers in the Industry segment. This role combines strong people leadership with operational responsibility in a customer-oriented engineering environment.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team’s daily operations, planning and allocating resources, and ensuring that engineering activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with agreed processes, standards, and safety requirements. You will support performance through clear goal setting, regular follow-up, and continuous feedback, while creating an environment where people can succeed and develop.

In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with other Team Managers within the Engineering unit to align ways of working, share best practices, and support overall operational efficiency. You will report to the Engineering Director and contribute to the development of the Engineering organization as a whole.

The role also includes close cooperation with sales, projects, manufacturing and stakeholders to secure the right resources for customer needs, ensure high engineering and design quality, and proactively manage risks and changes. You will contribute to continuous improvement by developing and standardizing team practices, tools, and processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost awareness.

About you

You have a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation to understand complex challenges and guide your team effectively. We value strong technical expertise and collaboration skills. In addition, previous experience from industrial electrification projects, drive applications, and electrical design is highly regarded. You have a solid understanding of engineering processes, standards, and quality requirements, enabling you to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery. Experience in resource planning and coordinating work allows you to allocate tasks efficiently and balance team workloads. You are committed to safety, continuous improvement, and structured ways of working, creating a reliable and efficient environment for your team and customers.

Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken, is required, and knowledge of other languages, such as Swedish, is considered an asset.
