We are looking for a Project Engineer to strengthen our project team in Finland. Are you a solution-oriented professional who enjoys working close to the implementation of projects and contributing to high-quality deliveries in the energy sector? Then we would like to hear from you.

About the position

As a Project Engineer, you work closely with Project Managers and have a versatile role within project management and project execution. You are a key player in project-related purchasing activities and communicate actively with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders regarding project needs. You play an important role in maintaining and monitoring project schedules and cooperate closely with our own factory to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

You take responsibility for creating, maintaining and administering project-related documentation, and you are an active member of the project organization, working closely with our experts across different disciplines. You will be involved in several projects at the same time, sharing your time, ideas and expertise within the team. As you gain experience, you are eager to take on new challenges and gradually broaden your responsibilities.

In this role, no two days are alike. The position offers a high level of variety and an excellent opportunity to learn new things and develop yourself in an open and flexible work community. Experience in power distribution or hydro projects is considered an advantage, but it is not a requirement. A strong willingness to learn and develop will compensate for any lack of prior experience in these areas.

About you

You have a technical or commercial education (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) and an energetic attitude towards working as a key member of a project team. You are self-driven, take initiative and have the ability to make things happen in a structured and solution-oriented way.

You communicate fluently in both Finnish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage. You combine technical understanding with a practical mindset and are motivated to contribute to successful project deliveries.

To succeed in this role, you benefit from knowledge or experience in electrification projects and previous experience in engineering and/or project management. Financial and business understanding, good communication skills and a customer-focused way of working are important assets. You are capable of solving project-related challenges, work in a target-driven manner and thrive as a team player with strong organizing and scheduling skills.
