We are looking for a Project Purchaser to join our procurement team and support our project operations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing purchasing activities, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to the continuous development of our procurement processes.
Your role
As a Project Purchaser, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations without compromising quality, delivery performance, or business needs. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the wider procurement team to support both day-to-day purchasing activities.
Key responsibilities
Execute RFQ and purchasing activities for projects in the Nordic countries.
Manage order from procurement-to-pay including potential claims and proactively follow up on deliveries and lead times.
Support supplier selection processes and contribute to supplier performance development.
Handle supplier-related escalations in cooperation with category teams.
Provide commercial support and procurement guidance to internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate improved purchase terms whenever possible.
What we expect from you
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent education.
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Development-oriented approach and willingness to improve processes and ways of working.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within tight timelines.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent written and spoken Finnish, Swedish, and English.
